Chester Selectboard approves revised audit and commitments policies. The Board unanimously backed a revised Independent Audit Policy allowing audits to be conducted "at the discretion of the Board" and approved the Town Commitments Policy without opposition. Discussion of a Finance Committee proposal to raise Selectboard stipends by $500 per member was tabled pending the committee's full budget presentation before Town Meeting; Selectman John Baldasaro favored a $1,500 increase, but Selectman Brian Forgue noted disproportionate growth compared to raises for other town employees.
