Chester Council on Aging appoints new leadership and charts holiday season events. Dave Orcutt was named Chairperson and Darlene Stone Secretary. The council is hosting a Senior Brunch on November 22 at the COA room behind Town Hall, shifting from a prior venue after the Chester Foundation began charging a facility fee.
Upcoming events include COA Crafts on November 15, Christmas wreaths on December 6, and a seniors' Christmas Party on December 17 at 12:30 p.m. A recent flu clinic drew 26 participants, and the council will offer free gift wrapping to all residents.
