CHESTER — The Chester Council on Aging approved prior minutes and discussed programming, equipment, and budget matters at its March 4 meeting. Dave Orcutt and Mary Ann Pease, among four board members present, reviewed a Hair Day program expanding to house calls, revisited a "pod idea" pending selectmen discussion, and heard a proposal from Keirsen Broman for fundraiser dinners including baked potatoes and spaghetti. The board confirmed participation in Chester on Track with a crafts table and a St.
Patrick's Day corned beef and cabbage dinner, and discussed a Sarah Gillette Grant for potential senior center upgrades such as paint and shelves.
