CHESTER — Finance Committee approves $12,000 transfer from reserves to cover Town Hall building shortfall. Chair Florence Bolduc and the committee voted unanimously to move funds after Andrew Alward reported unexpected expenses will deplete the account before fiscal year end. Fire Chief Nate Bolduc presented detailed budget priorities including generator replacement at two main stations, new Fire Chief vehicle funding, and salary increases to match industry standards; the department will also absorb two expired Town Hall automated external defibrillators into its budget alongside fire station units.
