The library will be closed Wednesday, Nov. 11, Wednesday, Nov. 25, and Thursday, Nov. 26.

Story & Fun Time continues every Thursday at 11 a.m. for young children.

On Saturday, Nov. 14, at 10 a.m., the library will host a presentation on the history of Chester's Factory Village. The talk will be given by James Higby, secretary of the Chester Historical Society and a local cartographer and geographic information scientist, who will use 3D elevation maps and copies of old photographs. The library asks that attendees RSVP by calling 413-354-7808.

The library's book club meets the third Wednesday of each month at 4:30 p.m. In November, the group will discuss "The Six," a book by Loren Grush about America's first women astronauts and how NASA opened its astronaut candidate pool to women. Extra copies of the book are available at the library.
