Chester Finance Committee unanimously approves fire truck loan payment using Special Town Meeting funds. Chair Florence Bolduc, members Judith Dalesandro, Mary Ann Pease, Bob Daley, Nick Chiusano, Joe Ryan, and new member John Williams met December 4 at the COA room with guests Brian Forgue and Andrew Alward. The committee launched the FY 2027 budget cycle with new zero-based budget guidance and a 2.6 percent inflation assumption, setting a February 13, 2026 deadline for departmental submissions.
The committee adopted a motion to align Finance Committee meeting cancellations with Gateway School weather schedule.
